Least flighty/most friendly blue egg layers?

Not a breed, but I’m on generation 3 of a blue layer project based off of what are quite possibly the two most unlikely breeds imaginable: White Laced Red Cornish and Hmong. This cross tends to be super friendly and they’re remarkably (and unexpectedly) good layers.

That's awesome! Also beautiful birds.

Does anyone have Shetland hens? I would like to know more about them. They are a blue egg layer as well.
I do- they’re hilarious. I call them my ‘purple minions’ because that’s what they make me think of. They’re crazy friendly- NO personal space. Open the coop door and they’re hopping on and over you like “I’m going exploring”. I was also surprised how incredibly soft their feathers are comparatively- they’re very silky. I find the Cream Legbars definitively more flighty, not bad, but the Shetlands are very friendly. Surprisingly hardy for their slightly smaller stature. It’ll be snowing and I’ll be chasing them inside- like aren’t you cold? 🙄. I just hatched a few and I still love the babies’ poofs.
They do lay both green and blue though so kind of luck of the draw on egg color, just fyi
