I have two little hooligan Modern Game babies and two sweet little Old English babies housed together. They're all just under one day of age. The two Moderns have already gotten their land legs and are running amuck in the brooder. The two Old English are working on getting their feet steady, but they're a tad wobbly and much sleepier. Now the Moderns are trying to eat the Old Englishs' toes, and they're VERY persistant! I don't want to separate them all, but the poor OEs are so tired from running away from the Moderns. What can I do to stop the little (adorable but hellish) brats from eating their siblings' toes???

Just give them a few days and they'll figure out toes don't taste good. Or just wait till they try to eat a toe that has stepped in some cecal... stop them pretty quick.

Lol I JUST went through that this morning with some guinea keets going after each others toes! They looked like worms I guess.

Good luck and congrats!

They already seemed to have mellowed out. I just felt so badly for the little OEs, they were running around screeching at the top of their lungs.
