Dude..guys and gals...give this girl a break. It is rediculous for her to go and kill all 46 of her chickens and just rebuild her flock. From my understanding, her chickens are getting better. Yes I understand that you all are worried about other diseases and the rest of the nine yards, but she is seeing improvements.
Kryptonite...treat and observe, see what happens. Research, in books not on the internet. Ask a vet, see what they say. They would be willing to help. What is the observing rule when you bring in new chickens? If I remember correctly it is separate and observe for a month. If there is no signs of mishap, introduce.
Any one that buys and brings new animals in is more apt to bringing in a disease because no one knows the backround of the animal. The person selling it could be lying, you just never know.
Oh and about the researching, I don't like using the internet. Anyone can write anything they want on the internet and they not know a single thing about it. I am not saying you all don't know what you are talking about, I am just saying be careful where you get your info from.
