Leaving coop door open at night?

After reading all the replies, I've decided to leave the door to the run open on hot nights because the coop can get too warm. My run is very secure with 2x6 doug fir, four high, solid sides, and 1/2" hardware cloth on the roof. It's a bit scary. But I don't have any way a predator could get in unless they could lift a big door at the other end that has a cement block on it. Maybe I should put a lock on that door too.
Couldn't stand it, worried too much. Started closing run at night again.

I had to go out of town for a week so modified the door into a Dutch door and kept the top section open.
Before leaving I made sure the hens would enter the coop by flying up to the Dutch door lip and fly down into the coop.
My main worries are foxes, cats and rats.
Came back last night and all was good.
