If your yard is really small can you cover a portion of it so you don't have to worry about them so much during the day?
NO I wouldn't think so. If everyone's yard is all fenced in and you put a net over part of yours how would anyone know? I'm such a rebel!Probably not due to strict HOA. I read somewhere that if you provide a small coup or shelter for them to run to that helps. I think I won't be able to fully protect but can make it better.
If they are jumbo peking, would they get big enough where a bird of prey won't mess with them?
they still can but you better be out there with them. I doubt you'd be allowed to hang predator tape since it's an HOA.So does no one leave their ducks out during the day to roam? Seems like they should be able to enjoy the backyard.
Preditor tape. Hmmm. I'm researching it. I never heard of it. Is it easy to use?Mine are on a half acre fenced with a lot of trees and bushes and predator tape hanging everywhere. Locked up secure at night. You chicken wire will not protect your ducks from mink raccoon or weasel and they are there even if you’ve never seen them.
