Left over white rice

Right, I’m not well versed on nutrition but I do remember something about white rice being of no to not much value in that regard.
We will limit their intake.

No no salt
May I suggest that you limit all treats to a very small amount and not regularly.
Like only once a week.

Anything besides the complete poultry feed is a treat, imo.

Feeding a complete diet is the absolute best thing you can do for your flock.

Saying all this....I feed white rice after I cover it in cayenne pepper!

We give our birds a 1 gallon bucket of kitchen scraps every day (it is usually at least half full). It usually contains veggies, egg shells, my son's leftovers, and things of that nature. Occasionally it will have rice in it. The birds go CRAZY for rice. But divided between 60+ birds, I figure it isn't too bad for them.

LOL, my girls just got some frozen cooked quinoa as a cool down treat. It's so hard to stick to the minimal treat thing... but they do get a 20% feed and no scratch.
