Hey all, just something to think about. I was checking my flock today when I noticed a huge lump on my dear Jack's leg. I picked him up and looked closer only to notice that his leg band had slipped up over his hock and his skin and muscle had since grown over it and became swollen. I took it off and gave him something to help with blood flow. The leg is kinda deformed now. But he should be fine. I just wanted to remind you all to be sure that your leg bands fit properly and to check them! He was lucky, it could have caused permanent damage!
