Leg Bands

What are these called, just simply "leg bands"? I've been wanting to mark my ducks so that I can identify each one to help develop a better understanding of each one's individual personality and characteristics and thought this might be a good way. Outside of color schemes what all can be put on them? And would something like that prompt them to peck at each other's bands at all?

Bands are none invasive. None of my birds pick qt the birds that wear them. It also helps us identify the age, breed, and individual bird. You can get metal ones to stamp info on or plastic ones to write on. You can also get wing bands to.

We use crappy cheap zip ties that can easily be cut off. Just stay away from red and bright orange bc that may cause fighting.
