leg bands?

When do you put them on and whats the normal size for bantams and Lf? Do they get put on as chicks?

Sizing depends on what kind of band you get. Some use "standard size" numbers, some go by the inside diameter measurement, some are just adjustable

Since they don't grow with the chicks, I put them on whenever I think they are about done growing. WING bands can be put on day-olds and stay on the bird for their entire life. They seemed hard to apply to my adult birds so I opted for leg bands.

I don't know a whole lot about banding chicks, I have always used zip ties for IDing younger birds, just gotta watch em and change them out as they grow.
