Leg bands

I've got a case from Costco and one from Home Depot. Both are saying UV resistant. I use them in the shop all the time, but have given up on using them outdoors. Can't even have plastic outdoor chairs outside. One year and they crumble. The high elevation makes the UV levels too high for them. You can get a sunburn in only 10 minutes up here. Visitors underestimate it all the time. They come from "sunny" California to visit Crater Lake National Park and go later to the emergency room in Klamath Falls (southern central Oregon) due to sunburn. Happens all the time. We had relatives coming from Texas in fall and they did get burned. Ironically the temperatures make you think it is less bad here. They are putting solar electric power plants up here, because solar is more effective here then in the south. Heat makes them less efficient, and we do have less heat. Mid 80's is normal for summer with 60's at night. Very comfortable. We do get winters with snow, but it snows and then nothing for 2-3 weeks. We get anywhere from 3" to 3 feet per winter. 6 feet 2 years ago. Oh and we do have over 300 days sunshine per year. Rain happens once every two months in summer. Totally dry out here. So dry that we do not have fleas or ticks. Gotta love that.
