Leg bands

Spiral leg bands work the best. They are the easiest to get on and off. You just untwirl the sprial slip it over the leg and its on. I use them on my Toulouse geese to mark the males and females, they take a size 16.

The colored velcro strips that I use are in the sewing notions dept. at Wal-marts...Depending on their width, I cut them length wise and cut them down to fit...

Yeah, well, that's what I'm afraid of. Unfortunately, that thought did not cross my mind until after I clicked the button. And darn it, I could NOT get the button to unpush!

I remember trying some teeny rubber bands for my shih-tzu to keep the hair out of her eyes. That didn't work too well. Either the dratted things broke about the time I got the hair rounded up, or Sandy shook her head twice and poof! there went the hairdo and the rubber band.

You know, some days I think I really should have been a blonde!

So, does anybody have any idea what I can do with the rubber band things if they don't work out for poultry??
