A few weeks ago I had Coryza run through a few of my young birds. I used LA 200 injection in the leg for each that had symptoms. All recovered but I have one that moved while i was inserting the needle. The shot site has basically blown out.
I’ve got her in a brooder, cleaned the wound and bandaged it for 5 days. Used peroxide and triple antibiotic cream, gauze, vet wrap, ect.

Today, while changing the bandage and cleaning it a large piece of skin sloughed off and almost the entire muscle of the front thigh is exposed.
I am wanting to know the best product to use now.
Will blue kote sting to much?
What about aushield?
I feel the bandages will irritate it or worse... somehow move around and let debris in.

Brooder is lined with newspapers but... murphey’s law exists...

any pictures? I wouldn't use peroxide or alcohol on a chicken.
there are better solutions for that. What i would do is put neosporin on it.
and if it is really bad take her to a vet.

I wonder if a honey bandage might help? When I worked at a veterinary practice we did a series of honey bandages on a dog's elbow that had opened all the way up to the point where the elbow bone was exposed and the skin had receded back. You can buy medical grade manuka honey here.
