A few birds in my current flock and previous batchs have had a cramp in the left leg and not being able to move it and will lay in the floor, What would cause such?

Thanks

Do you have photos of the bird?
How old are the birds?
Where did the birds come from?

Broilers can have leg issues since they gain weight so fast, leg bone deformities or possibly vitamin B2 deficiency.
Marek's disease might be another cause to consider.

What are you feeding?

Did you notice the legs/feet like that when they arrived?

The toes especially look gnarled to me - I don't think I've ever seen that. @Eggcessive may know.
If you have had this before with the same source, then I would wonder if it's a genetic defect or parent stock deficiency. Have you contacted the hatchery to see if they have seen this before?

I would get them on some poultry vitamins that contain B2. Personally I would give them Poultry Cell this has a good spectrum of vitamins, that I think may be beneficial to your chicks.

This is a recent development, the chick as unfortunately died, I have given them some calcium solution, and did not seem to improve

I use 2 hatcherys and both have the same problem. I have given them antibiotics but still does not seem to improve
