Leg deformity/injury

Hi all,

I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with the pullets leg. We got her recently and she wasn’t born with it, and the guy we got her from did splint it for awhile but it ended up reverting back to the attached pic. Vet x-rayed it and said there’s no broken bones/obvious deformities. Any thoughts?

Could be a valgus deformity.

I was given a silkie with this deformity. She’s doing fine and has learned to balance on one leg. It’s not lethal but you may have to do some extra steps to make sure she’s getting enough food and water.

If that’s caused by a slipped tendon, can it be fixed? She’s only 12 weeks and it happened about a month ago.

It was suggested that it would not be fixable.
