I posted about this same question a while ago, and was told that the leg feathers would go away when she got her new feathers. Shes already molted and gotten her adolescent feathers, and now is almost done molting those and getting her adult feathers. So my question is, why does she have them? Will they still go away? Or might she keep them??

Where did you get her parents? They probably came from bad lines and that is why it has those feathers
Parents were given to us by another duck owner. We dont know where she got them. They were having predator problems so they had to get rid of their surviving animals. I do know that the parents didnt show the feathered leg though.

Is this something to worry about? I really would like to know since this is kind of a weird thing. Is there anything you'd have to watch for in birds with this condition?
