Leg/Foot Injury

It's possible. My gals eat scorpions and have never been stung that I know of, or at least don't react to it if they do. But one of my dogs has been stung a couple times. His foot swells noticeably and he limps for a couple of days. Perhaps soak her foot in epsom salt bath for about 20 minutes and see if it offers any relief?

Good news today! Judging by her body language, Betty seems to be doing a little better today. She's not out of the woods yet, so I'll keep everyone posted

I'm glad that she is doing better! I regret that I don't know much about scorpions so I defer to others that do. I hope it was just a minor injury. Make sure she eats and drinks well, especially keeping hydrated since you mentioned it is pretty hot there!

Betty had a really good day today! She came out off the coop and played in the yard for a bit. She also laid her first egg since Sunday!

I did have a question in regards to her egg size. Will hens lay a smaller egg after an injury? The one she laid yesterday resemble her first egg in size comparison.

Here is another video of Betty. As you can tell she's doing a lot better today. She also laid a normal sized egg yesterday afternoon. Thank you everyone for the advice and concerns.
