First let me say thank you to all the vitamin E advice!! My 6 year old sons baby rooster, Dragon, had stop walking. I asked for advice here on BYC and was suggested to give him Vitamin E twice a day and some Polyvitasol. I am extremely happy to say that not only are his curled feet uncurled but he is now able to walk short distances and stand. He is still very alert and eats and drinks and is very happy, especially when my son goes in to pick him up and talk to him.

Now I'm wondering what I can do for his legs. As he is getting the strength back he is having some issues with keeping his legs under him. I'm guessing it's similar to spraddle legs?? What can I wrap his legs in to keep them from going out to the sides? I want to give him all the help he needs to get even more strength back. He has come so far and I know that he just needs a little more "physical therapy" and he will be just fine. We are even going to build him, & any other chickens, an accessible house just for them to get in and out of easier.

Thank you for any advice and thank you for all the advice I have already gotten. I love this site and I have to say that I didn't know how much my family and I would love our chickens!
