I have 5 hens. Henna (yes I know I'm SOO creative

), with the most personality was killed by my dog when my dad told me he always knows best for our animals. I now have 2 reddish brown hens and three black hens. We were told that the brown hens are leghorns, but due to recent pictures on this site, they might actually be ISA Browns.
Can anyone tell me any visual / behavioural differences so I can know my sweet babies better? I meant ISA brown, not Rhodies.

I am so very glad you joined the wonderful world of keeping poultry. You will find keeping chickens is fun, entertaining, and also a learning experience all in one.

Good Luck, and enjoy your feathered friends!!

Very sorry about Henna. I always feel dogs and chickens should never meet. The chicken is always the loser. .If you could post photos of your birds, either here or at "what breed or gender is this," we should be able to ID them for you. Stating the age in photos, is a big help. Welcome to BYC
