Can you share a picture when you get the chance? One of our recent hatch had a little pink bump on her belly. I did a quick Google and it suggested it could be the egg sac. Couple of hours later, the bump had vanished and she is still doing well in the brooder. I'm holding out hope for your baby chick!!!

It had orange swelling fluid coming out, looked ruptured, if she’s still alive tomorrow I’ll take a picture

Sometimes the umbilical cord doesn't detach correctly. Keep her separate from the others but under heat. Apply iodine to the skin around the cord where it enters the body, once a day for a few days, you can use a q-tip. It will fall off when it's ready. Don't mess with it. Keep us posted!

Pluto also hatched
I’m surprised they are all light coloured given most my birds are dark coloured

They have the floofiest bums ever
I think my buff rooster certainly did his job, all the chicks are buff based

Unfortunately Luna was a quitter, guessing around day 10
Ursa was shrink wrapped and needed an assisted hatch,

Some good news, Ursa survived the night and the orange fluid has receded and now there’s just a red scab/lump however she’s still attached to the egg.. not sure how to proceed it seems like a bad idea to pull the shell off

I'm really glad she survived the night. I've never hatched, but I'm sure someone on here has and knows what to do next.
