leg horn- toe problem

My white leg horn i got recently has got a swollen pad on her left center toe. it has this black scabby thing in the middle which i could probably pull of, my father reckons it just an abscess that will go away but i really want to treat it, any help would be much appreciated , i can also put up some pics tomorrow if that would help. i research about it and it came up with this case similar to mine but much bigger and they said it was bumbblefoot

It is definately bumblefoot. Please search bumblefoot surgery in this forum. There are some great pictures to assist you in doing this yourself. Good luck, if you need more detailed help you can PM me.

Can you confirm weather this is bumble foot or not, sorry about the pics i was in a rush and my camera wouldn't focus. hope its not
