Leg injury followed by droopy wing?

Our larger buff goose hurt it's leg and about 24 hours later has a droopy wing on the opposite side of the body. The leg seems to be improving by the day, but the wing still droops. It will still flap it's wings to move around the yard, but can't seem to put it back to the natural resting position. Any ideas if there is some larger issue at work here? It otherwise appears healthy and is eating and drinking.

Perhaps it's a balance thing? How's he doing?
That is what I thought might be happening. Maybe it strained muscles trying to compensate for the bad leg. It's still about the same, droopy wing and a little limp. Hoping it slowly works itself out of it.

Have you checked it over for wounds? Just to make sure it's just a leg injury. Hopefully it improves.

Update:. It was slow, but after the leg improved the wing eventually got better as well. It is a happy, healthy goose once again!
