Leg Injury, HELP

Sorry to hear this could his leg been pulled out of joint? can you feel up around his leg where it meets the body? anything feel swollen or different than the other?

When he is in the water floating around will he use his leg? stand up in the water if shallow?

It seems to be more the ankle joint that is problematic. He moves his leg some, not a lot, but I don't see him use his ankle/foot any, even in water.

Wonder if it's dislocated or broken? is there a lot of swelling? Might try Epsom salt compresses. Or @Amiga rec T Relief for injuries to legs.

Hello, sorry your Duck is injured..It can take weeks for leg injuries to heal. Like us if we sprain an ankle. Hopefully in time he recovers. Have the wounds healed?.

Where was the injury?

It has been only nine days. If he sustained a serious pull, or possibly a tear, it is going to take a long time to heal completely. Time floating and playing in lukewarm water, turmeric in his food (careful, it stains), T-Relief ointment rubbed into the leg, and I would guess weeks to fully heal.

If there is no infection from a puncture, I expect with rest, anti inflammatory, lukewarm swimming, he should heal up well.

Those injuries take lots of time.
