I have a 3 week old quail chick that escaped the brooder and got onto the slippery hardwood floor causing a leg injury. I am really beating myself up over letting this happen. She seems to be moving around fine not in pain but her injured leg sticks out to the side and is not functional. I’ve scoured the internet trying to find possible solutions and reached out to multiple vets the past few days. The next exotic vet won’t be in office for another ten days. Culling is not an option I love her dearly and wouldn’t be against raising a disabled quail. I just want to help her if possible and give her the best quality life. Her name is Petunia.
I have attached the best photo I could get of it. She has rubbed the feathers off dragging it around
