We had a case of leg mites a while back and treated it with bag balm and it worked nicely, however, we now have another case of them. Not sure why we keep getting it as they are well cared for and we keep their coop clean. My question is... over half our hens have feathered feet making it hard to coat with stuff. How should I go about. I read somewhere to dip their feet into a cup of oil and on another site to trim the feathers back?
Any suggestions here? I hate to think my girls are in pain or discomfort!
