Here's a little update on this guy if anyone's interested in how it turned out. We put him in an 8x8 covered pen and he's got 4 "women" in with him now. 2 of the women are going to another home but then but I'll add 2 Sex Links so he'll still have 4 ladies. He's very sweet to them and pushed them into the corner when I was taking pictures. I also trimmed those spurs of his for the record

We named him Spoc.

did he get the whole spa treatment? You might be surprised, he may like getting Bag Balm rubbed into those dry shanks! My roosters bliss out in my lap for that part, even after a hard struggle or chase for catching.

I did rub bag balm on his legs and feed several times. He takes handling real well for a wild chicken.
