If I have a flock of 90 hens and 50 or so are displaying signs of leg mites, do I have to treat all 90 hens for leg mites, or can I get away with only treating the 50 who are displaying signs of leg mites?

Treat ALL of them, it spreads really quickly when they sleep together. It’s a lot of work, but it’s needed, or else they will all get it. So after treating the birds, try to also clean the entire coop!If I have a flock of 90 hens and 50 or so are displaying signs of leg mites, do I have to treat all 90 hens for leg mites, or can I get away with only treating the 50 who are displaying signs of leg mites?

They've had leg mites for more than a year now I think. They all sleep together. If some of them haven't gotten leg mites yet, is it not safe to say they won't get leg mites?Treat ALL of them, it spreads really quickly when they sleep together. They may still have it yet not display as bad symptoms. For example, they may just have a few notes on them, but if you finish treating the others, they may still get it if you don’t treat all the birdsThey've had leg mites for more than a year now I think. I am sorry, I know that you have many birds...but that’s the best option I see. If you only fix a few of them, it may just spread back...aw man okay
