Leg out of socket?

Hey Independence! Hows your girl doing?

She is more active but still has the large (huge?) bump above the joint. She uses her bad leg for balance but it seems to twitch/spasm when she extends it. Today is a beautiful day so I'll see if can take a short video.

Have you checked out her foot Indy? It looks like a foot injury, but then the bump is there...

Yes, the first thing I checked was her foot. That was before noticing the "bump" :-(

Despite the cringeworthy limp it is actually better than it was last week. She was barely walking then. Any limps my chickens have ever developed have healed over time. I am holding out hope this one will too despite my misgivings.

She is still getting around. Her limp is less dramatic and she seems to be fitting in with the flock with no issues - except for being a bit of a roo magnet. She is SO tiny so I am giving her some heartier rations. I need to check and see how the "bump" looks.
