Leg Scales

Of all my chickens my Batams is the only ones that has legs scales.Why?

I always thought all chickens had scales on their legs. Do you mean that the scales are raised, which could be a sign of scaly leg mites? Those can be treated by lathering the legs with Vaseline or oil.
