Leghorn advice needed !

Hi all ,
I decided to take the plunge and order leghorn hatching eggs ! I’m really excited to hatch and raise them ! I ordered exchequer and blue leghorns . I’d love to hear people’s experiences with leghorns and advice on hatching and raising them!
Thanks in advance!
Only thing I can think of is to watch the tail feathers for signs of being roosters, because while males have much larger combs than females, leghorns grow differently than other breeds and even the girls have big combs for their body size.

I have 4 white leghorn in my mixed flock. I love them. Super sweet. Only ones who lay year round when not broody. I originally got them because they are unlikely to go broody or so I've read. Jokes on me because 2 of the 4 decided they wanted to be moms. Excellent mothers. View attachment 4278621
That's a beautiful sight!

Well hello! I have leghorns and they were hatched by my daughter in law from Trader Joe fertilized eggs. I have 4. They lay beautiful white eggs and I have had a couple of double yolkers. They are my first and only chickens so I cant compare them to others.

Unfortunately, it looks like only one baby from this hatch so I guess I’ll have to buy her some friends ! Three of the eggs leaked an amber liquid from their pores during incubation and three others died for some unknown reason and all the others are either late or dead . I candled earlier and only saw life in one .
Meet Daisy .
