Some cockerels will have fully developed spurs by the time they are 3 months old. Others may take as long as 8 or 9 months before a functional spur develops fully. When do they start growing Spurs?
That seems like a high probability.i think it could be a white leghorn mixed with an amberlink
What combo would that be?Appears to be a sex link cockerel
so maybe 3 months how old are your other chicks that you hatched out were they about they same size when you got himI think a couple months old
Good to know. At the moment it has no sign of Spurs. Some cockerels will have fully developed spurs by the time they are 3 months old. Others may take as long as 8 or 9 months before a functional spur develops fully.
