Hi im wondering if my Pullet is a Leghorn or a New hampshire. Im in a chicken club and lots of people own different breeds here, tho only one owns a Leghorn here. I own Small new hampshires and some do have White wing feathers like those two

Their about 4 Months old. We got like abt 7 More chicks we brought to the incubator in the Hatchery. I noticed that one chick was brighter than everyone else! Time went by and her siblings turned brownish while she turned white.. I thought someone swapped eggs in the hatchery but leghorns dont even look like my chicken.. The leghorn breed is the only white breed in the club

The guy who owns Leghorns said that this pullet doesnt look like a leghorn and looks like a Genetic mutation. Im not sure if this is true or that shes maybe a Leghorn? Her comb is growing very slow and thats not typical for Leghorns. Could this be a genetic mutation? How does that happen? I hope this is the right forum for this. excuse my english.

Let her grow out more and check the earlobe color. If white, it's a Leghorn. If pink/red it's a New Hampshire. It's a bit early for Leghorn comb development. A spontaneous recessive white mutation is always possible, even though it's extremely rare.
