I have some in the incubator and I am sure there will be a rooster which you are welcome to for free. The catch is you will have to wait obviously and I am located in CT

Where exactly in NY are you located?
There is a place called Frog Pond Farms in Bainbridge, Chenango County not far from Binghamton. They open April 12, they do have a website and facebook.

Big open air produce stand, fruits/vegis, greenhouses with all sorts of plants and flowers. They sell day old poultry all sorts in the spring. And quite often have full grown cockerels for sale.
If you go their and want to make a day trip out of it May 24-27 Bainbridge has the General Clinton Canoe Regatta, longest single day flat water canoe race. Kinda a small fair/carnival also.
