Might still be a hen.

Until you see clear male feathers (saddle feathers or those long curved tail feathers), it could still be a female.


I have a white peullet I was SURE was male.. she hatched with this giant comb, she started pinking up probably by a month of age........


You would think I would learn....but nope, often the white Leghorns (or in your case looks like a white crossed with another color) completely fool you with giant red wattles and combs on young pullets.


So....

Wait until you see the male feathers come in.

The male feathers start to grow in around three months of age. By four months there should be enough male feathers that you will know for sure.

Moonshiner raises a bunch of Leghorns.... so he has a very good chance of being correct in his guess..... but I would hold out hope until coear male feathers come in.
