Leghorn x Rhode island red chicks

Ok. So we thought these chicks would be sex linked (rhode dad) but all chicks are yellow with black spots! I'm thinking of having a couple to run on and see what they turn out. Any tips on trying to guess sex? They hatched on Tuesday.

What color variety of leghorn was used in the cross? White leghorns are a poor choice for trying to breed for sex links. This thread may help shed some light for you

Thanks. It was white leghorn. They are at me work but im quite taken with them. The spots look very cute. But cant decide weather to get a cupple eith the rusk of just cockerels
