My guess would be that it is a Leghorn crossed with something (could be about any breed). Leghorn crossed with any other color usually results in the black spots.I know this is an old thread but I hope someone is still following this???? I have a chick that hatched yesterday and it came from a barnyard mix. I know there were NJ Giants, leghorns, EE, OE, barred rock, SLW, RSL and Marans. What a mess! I'm trying to ID the chick and I have one that is just not like the others!!! When I saw this thread I thought this might just be what she is! Here is her pic. let me know what you think, notice the 2 black dots on her back. Thanks
