Hey guys I’m wondering if I have a problem. I have a couple leghorns that have some pale combs. There’s also a good amount of lost feathers in the run. I do not see any empty patches in their feathers on them. They are all acting normal (minus one that seems to be a little loud and making noises that seem odd to me) They are all on the same diet. Available to them is all organic non gmo layer pellets, and oyster shells. They also get vegetable greens and crack corn on occasion. They get apple cider vinegar in their water (which they love oddly) they have busy baths with DE and peet moss. When given the crack corn they also get grit. I noticed one of the leghorn hens has a scab on their comb. Pecking order issue? I haven’t seen her scratching at it. Is this something I should be worried about. I did notice one of them have runny bowel movements but I have not seen it in the coop since. Any information helps. Seems like everything I read on the web about it differs. Hard to get pictures of them because they are so darn tightly. But I will try.

Sounds like the ones in question are fixing to molt and maybe quit laying for a bit.
