Legs coming out of egg first, Normal?

One of the chicks is hatching under my broody right now and the legs are out first, is htis normal?? Help

yes, just fine. don't panic. any part can come out first.

Thanks Miss Jane, we are so thrilled, I bought these eggs at farmers market and they told me they had a rooster, I dont even know what we are getting and this is our Copper Black Maran first attempt at hatching the "natural way" what an eggciting time in our neighborhood, I could throw a chick-show this all thevisitors awaiting this great moment!

that is very exciting! how fun! Marans require lots of humidity, so there will be no shortage of that, she'll do great! they are good mommas!!!!

oh, it will be amazing when you see that first little head peek out under her feathers. you'll want to just pass out!!!! it's the most precious thing ever.

isn't that incredible that the little chick can get out of that hard eggshell???? i am reminded every time that i am fearfully and wonderfully made myself! (and we hatch hundreds here) wow! we are so special! how cool!!!!
