ok I did a search and pulled up some old theads talking about EEs, leg, and egg color, but I could not find all the info I want.
1. leg color has nothing to do with egg color right?
2. can a tan/pink egg laying EE hatch out a blue or green egg laying pullet/hen when NOT crossed with another EE or other blue egg, but a white egg roo? or in other words can a hen cary the blue egg gean{miss spl?} and not lay blue/green eggs?
I have a EE {or EE cross} hen, brown bird, blue legs, tanish colored eggs. and I've got a little blue OEG roo, i'm just woundering what chicks from that cross could lay. I'm thinking tan or white. I'm guessing the birds would be funky/odd colored
FYI: I do understand that EEs are a mix/mutt and have no standerd
