Hey guys. I have 12 chickens. 3 baby chick barred rock, 3 baby chick cornish hens, 6 baby leghorns and 1 big leghorn 18 weeks . the baby chicks were all together started being aggressive biting the leghorns to the point of bleeding and kept biting them there we separated them and put them in with the 18 week old. After that I noticed my baby leghorns had really swollen legs and these bumps on the bottom of their feet. All of my other chickens have bumps on their feet but small no swollen legs. The leghorns are really bad. We ruled out bumblefoot they have no scabbing the color is not different. No flaking. We have been soaking their legs in Epsom salts but I dont know what it is or what to do. Any ideas? Thank you

I did the best I could with the pictures they are in pain when I touch their legs

Are both hocks swollen or just one? On how many birds? Bacterial or viral arthritis can be a cause of swollen leg joints. The most common bacterial type is mycoplasma synovitis, a contagious disease of poultry that can be carried in hatching eggs or spread by a carrier.

Both are swollen some of them are worse than others I'll try to take a better picture of them so you can see.

All of the leghorns have swollen legs and or feet except the 18 week old leghorns. The rest of them the other 7 have bumps on both feet but very small and not swollen

Here is some pictures of the leghorns
