Legs turning a red color! Help please!

The scales on my 4mo old buff Orpington are turning pink/red. I just noticed today. The other chicks don’t have this. What could it be?

Is it a rooster? I've heard of that happening to them with an overabundance of hormones.

It’s totally normal! Most cockerels get this to

x2 Legs will start to turn red on the sides of maturing roosters or "Cockerels" that are getting their hormones in

Pullets and hens can also have pink/red flush due to hormones. It's the white legs that make it easier to see

Looks like a cockerel to me
