GORGEOUS! I especially LOVE the light one--reminds me of the Porcelain d'uccles...I wonder if we got these from the same person? Did they have arizona in their ebay name?

I see the word blue and I immediately think Orpingtons

Your cochins are great. I would love to have some that color in the orps. I am turning into an orp addict. I have a blue and a black giant cochin roos that I think are gorgeous but trying to get an all orp flock right now.

Hey Equibling, I got mine from Steve. But I did see the pics you posted when I was bidding on mine. Those were to far away if I remember correctly. We should keep in touch and do some trading later!! I would love to have some like those!

Equibling, I have a hen that looks JUST like that top pic of yours. I thought she was a mix of buff and blue!!LOL!!! I guess I won't get rid of her now.

I hate to but in and ruin this for you but those are not Lemon Blue. Here is an example of proper Lemon Blue Coloring:

You Can see that his head and hackles/neck is yellow. That cochins head is blue.

This is a pic of what the breast area is supposed to look like:

The breast is supposed to be blue with some yellow lacing. That cochins breast is pure yellow.

Even though the birds are still young there colors wouldnt be that messed up. I hope i could help sort out this problem

Hi!
I have this Cochin roo that *I was told* is lemon blue (with the barring gene).

He lives with the blue and black Frizz Cochin and Cochin cross girls in the Frizzle pen.
