Hello Everyone,

I have baby chicks that have just started hatching and so far I have 2 Niederrheiner's that have hatched. How early can you distinguish between a pullet and a cockerel? What are the markings to determine the difference? My Bielefelder's that hatched along with the Niederrheiner's were really easy to tell the difference.

You'll have to wait until 6-8 weeks to tell the sex. They aren't auto sexing like Bielefelders are. Some literature says they are auto sexing but all most all breeders I've talked to say they aren't.
