I have a lemon cuckoo orpinton too that I would like to breed to my buff corp girls. Is there a possibility that I will get the barring on some of the chicks.

If he is homozygous for the sex linked barring gene all of his progeny will show the cuckoo pattern, the males will be darker than the sire rooster because they will only have one copy of the barring gene(B/b+), the females will look like pure lemon cuckoo hens as they can only have one copy of the sex linked barring gene(B/-).

Thank you hopefully he is homozygous that would make some beautiful babies.
