I candled a couple more this evening, for fun (I'm terrible with patience). 10, 7, and 13 are all fertile! @Weeg @HappyClucker7 @cluckmecoop7

The others I haven't candled today. I'll probably wait until Saturday to candle again.

Also, to let you know, its okay to candle daily. I usually do. Some people actually go out of their way to cool eggs for 10 minuets everyday. Its supposed to help reduce water in the egg, plus simulates a hen getting off the nest to eat, drink, etc. I have never cooled eggs, but I do think its a very interesting idea. Point being, pulling eggs out of the bator to candle daily isn't going to hurt them, and at best may even be beneficial.

Its supposed to help reduce water in the egg, plus simulates a hen getting off the nest to eat, drink, etc. I have never cooled eggs, but I do think its a very interesting idea. Point being, pulling eggs out of the bator to candle daily isn't going to hurt them, and at best may even be beneficial.

We can share #3 @Sc_chickengirl I don't know if it is fertile yet, but I enjoy watching because my swan eggs are too big to fit in a regular incubator, so I have to rely on my pen. Feel free to put your name on 3 with mine, if @Lemon-Drop drop don't mind.
