Yay! Thanks so much!

Eeek! So excited! And nervous! And happy! And impatient!:jumpy:wee:jumpy
Also, just because its lockdown, it doesn't mean you can't open the bator. Everywhere you read it will say, DO NOT OPEN THE BATOR OR ELSE. This isn't entirely true. Most experienced hatchers will say that lockdown is when they are the most hands on. Opening the bator for a second while the eggs are hatching, or internally pipping isn't going to be a problem. I tend to get impatient with eggs that are taking longer, and candle during internal pipping. No problems and its really cool. :p
Anyway, just thought I'd let you know encase you didn't know already. I freaked out everytime I had to open my bator during lockdown on my first hatch.

Ok! Yeah, I've read people saying 'if you open it-they will all die' sort of thing. I might want to very quickly at some point candle an internal pip. I'll definitely try not to open when there's external pips/zipping though, because I think that it might cause shrink-wrapping?

It will only cause shrink-wrapping if the humidity drops for an extended period of time. Opening it quickly for a candle wont hurt a bit. :)
If that is how it worked, then anytime anyone tried to assist a hatch the egg would become shrink-wrapped immediately. Its pretty neat. I opened my bator quite a bit during a zip since I wanted the egg to hatch in my hands. That egg, and her internally pipping sister hatcher no problem all on their own. :)

I shall name it ---- Soda :p

Plus, it wouldnt make sense how people know what lockdown chicks looked like in eggs if no one could do it.
