Less Eggs/Light Yello Yolk

Just wondering why my chickens would be laying fewer eggs and eggs with lighter yellow yolks instead of the dark orange ones they usually lay. They seem happy and healthy and we've lucked out with the weather and it hasn't gotten too horribly hot here. Do some chickens just do this this time of year, or is there something I could be doing to help.

There are a number of factors in how they lay, but the yolk color is from the diet. Many commercial feeds add marigold to enrich the yolk colors. They prefer the leaves over the flowers. Green leafy plants and veggies add to yolk color. You can search specific ones to add to the diet.
