Today my flock is sooo quiet I have to keep going outside to see if they are still there.
I've rounded up all the extra Spring roos (6) and have them in a pen, ready to go to the Sale Barn this afternoon
... no crowing from them either.
Just my one Main Roo and a tiny baby roo (too little to go... maybe he won't?
)... no crowing... nothing to prove, i guess?
For a while, some of the "sisters" hung around the pen... I think they will miss them... me too. But still this is the best for the flock as a whole.
Maybe I'll find a shed to re-do for a new coop?
