If I feed my dog a higher quality food, I notice her poop is less/smells ok, not horrible.
Is there any chicken feed/additive etc that will do the same for chickens? I am feeding them Layena.

I don't know if this will help, but after I started feeding my meat birds feed from the mill I don't have an issues with smell at all. And the best part is that I pay less for 100lbs of food then what I was paying for 50 lbs of food at the store. Plus I like to think that it is more healthy for them as oppose to processed commerical feed.

When I switched my chicks to Countryside Naturals (a fish based, rather than a soy based feed), I noticed their poops became smaller, drier and odorless (other than the cecal poops, which still stink to high heaven).

So, yes, I did notice a big difference.

Where would I find these feeds? I am a bit north of Houston
