LOL, WC!

I was just up in your area over the weekend visitng my parents. I was amazed at how much more snow y'all have over there than we do here. And I thought we had a lot!

Snowmobilers are happy anyway

I'm thinking about getting one so I can get to and from work for the rest of the winter!

I have been gone for the last 3 weeks, so this is my first snow that I have gotten to see, and just love it. Only thing is I don't like doing chores in the snow...lol This is perfect snow mobiling weather. This is what everyone wanted here, at least at my house. I would love to go ice fishing, but I am scared I will fall through the ice. I know, I know, I shouldn't be scared. According to my DH, he laughs at me when I say I will fall through.

Does your DW have far to drive. When I drive I don't worry about mine, it is the other driver's I worry about.

No, my DW doesn't have too far to drive. She drives slow. But it does get hilly close to our home.

And to think I just sold my snowmobile last summer. Oh well.

If there's a foot of ice on the lake, a large truck can drive safely, if you know the lake. But I know it does freak some people out.

That's so exciting!! We barely have gotten any snow this year. I remember when I was younger we'd get at least one really good snow a year (we live in Central Virginia). Lately though we've been experiencing mild winters. A few days ago it was in the 70's. Strange.

Send some of that snow our way!

Yes!!!!! I agree

Send some snow our way.

We out here in Southside Va. need a good, hard, freeze so we may as well have some snow to. I have seen it snow here 4 times already but all it was was flurries for about 10 to 15 minutes.

Nice pics. Very pretty.

We saw that on the news last night. I can't believe that guy did that especially on the river.

I am one of those people that get freaked out. I told my DH that if I could wear a life jacket I would go...lol. I went once on a pond with my husband, and I heard the eary noise, and then I boom, the fish house shook, I asked him what that was, and he said "Oh that just the ice crackin". I have never moved so fast in my life.
Haven't been back on the ice since. My son and his wife are up from TN, and they want to go fishing, and I am just freaking out.

My poor chickies have cabin fever, so I have to go shovel their run so they can get out.
