Let me get in your way! Solution?

I tend to kick out with each foot as I take a step. Not hard, but just enough to make it clear that I ain't stopping. Like firing a warning shot. The chickens understand this and tend to walk with me, not in front of me.

I had to step on the cat's tail a couple of times before she understood that laying in my path was NOT a good way to get my attention. And I STOMP up and down the stairs because the goof balls make a habit of lying there.

I almost never have kids in my way though. Think I asked for help one time too many?

it's because you are the 'meal ticket.' they are conditioned to get food when you are present. flock to the food!

i feel your pain. try on 100 broilers chasing you for about 1/2 acre every day, twice a day.

and wild animals hate me. with a vengeance. in fact, hate is a mild term. so fear the skunk, my friend. fear him.

I have a temporary housing situation for the skunk; its days are numbered! Kept spraying under the skids(pallets) as I was taking hay off the skids(pallets).
